Tulsa Chorale will present Joseph Haydn’s The Creation on Saturday, March 29th at the TU Lorton Performance Center. Hailed as one of Haydn’s greatest works, The Creation depicts the beginning of the universe and celebrates the goodness of our world in an uplifting way. The concert begins at 7:30 pm and features the 100-member chorus alongside local soloists Meray Boustani, Jeremiah Tyson, Kevin Eckard, and members of the Tulsa Symphony Orchestra.

The Creation not only tells us about the story of Genesis, but it also musically depicts how every aspect of the universe can rejoice in its unique way. Everything from the strength of stars to the creeping of worms is musically set in continuous songs of joy,” says Dr. Zachary Malavolti, Tulsa Chorale’s Artistic Director. “In this piece, the soloists tell the story as the chorus punctuates each new creation with songs of wonder.”
