This #GivingTuesday we’d like to share a quick anecdote from our last concert:

After the show, one of our audience members shared with us that her grown son, who was sitting next to her, said he closed his eyes at one point in the performance and was taken back to childhood when his mother would sing Brahms in the kitchen. They remarked at how incredible it was that the sound of that specific part could immediately take him back to the sights, sounds and feelings of that point in time.

Music is powerful, and the connections it creates in our lives are important. We don’t take lightly the impact that our voices have, and we’re grateful to get to help keep the memories and traditions of choral music alive from one generation to the next.

If you’re looking for a nonprofit to contribute to today, please consider a tax-deductible donation to Tulsa Chorale. Visit https://tulsachorale.org/support/ for more.

A big thank you to all our supporters throughout the year! We appreciate your encouragement and generosity that helps us continue our mission.
