2023 was a great year for Tulsa Chorale!

•Our first year under the leadership of our new Artistic Director, Dr. Zachary Malavolti

•Two spring performances: Hope & Glory, featuring Ralph Vaughan Williams’ Mass in G Minor, a fantastic solo set by Cathy Venable, and Randall Thompson’s Frostiana; and an a cappella celebration of spring-themed music with Sing in Spring

•Support from an energetic and hard-working Board of Directors led by President Sue McKenna

•Adding a strong new group of singers after auditions in August, bringing our total number of voices to over 100!

•Partnerships with some of our favorite Tulsa arts organizations: Tulsa Symphony, Classical Tulsa and Arts Alliance Tulsa

•A successful salon-style gathering to discuss the significance of Brahms over dessert and drinks, thanks to the generosity of our host, Professor Rodger Randle

•Countless hours rehearsing and lots of time spent together at social gatherings

•Kicking off our 2023-2024 season with a packed house for Brahms Requiem with soloists Meray Boustani and Dr. David Howard

As we look back at the year, we are so grateful for all our amazing supporters in the Tulsa arts community and beyond. We look forward to what 2024 will bring and wish all of our followers a very Happy New Year!
